Amman, Nov. 5 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD14.8 million Thursday, as a total of 5.7 million shares were traded through 5,221 transactions.

The general share price index reached 4,081 points at close, up 0.17%, compared with the last session.

Of the 106 companies traded, 35 went up and 41 closed lower than their previous closes.

By sector, the industrial index rose 1.99%, while the services and financial benchmarks fell 0.67% and 0.03%, respectively.
