Crown Prince meets with Karak youth

Karak, July 22 (Petra) -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, met on Wednesday with youth from Karak Governorate, according to a royal court statement.

During the meeting, held at Prince El Hassan Cultural Centre in Karak, discussions were held on a range of issues of concern to young people.

The Crown Prince emphasised the importance of empowering young people and unlocking their potential across various sectors, and called for the advancement of university-level academic, vocational, and technical education programmes.

His Royal Highness expressed his pride in the capabilities and technical proficiency demonstrated by young Jordanians working in technical and technology fields.

The Crown Prince noted the importance of completing key development projects currently underway across various sectors in Jordan, highlighting in particular the critical role of tourism projects designed to enhance visitor experiences and stimulate tourism at archaeological sites.

His Royal Highness also underscored the potential for regional economic cooperation in various fields, highlighting energy as a key sector for collaboration.

Discussions also touched on regional developments, with the Crown Prince reaffirming that Jordan remains fully prepared to safeguard its security and the safety of its people through the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies. The meeting addressed youth-focused concerns across sectors including tourism, agriculture, technology, and engineering, along with Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) initiatives.

The attendees praised the CPF’s role in empowering youth, noting His Royal Highness’ active, ongoing commitment and engagement with young people nationwide.
