Gov't Communication Forum to Host Jordan Valley Authority Secretary-General Tuesday

AMMAN, Nov. 2 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Government Communication and the Jordan Valley Authority will hold a media briefing on Tuesday to discuss innovative approaches to water resource management and ways to support agricultural development in the Kingdom.

The meeting, titled "Water Resource Management Innovative Solutions," will bring together Secretary-General of the Ministry of Government Communication Zaid Nuwaiseh and Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority Hisham Haisa. It is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. at the ministry's headquarters.

Discussions will focus on national efforts to improve water management and efficiency, advance agricultural development and strengthen food security. Participants will also address the use of innovative technologies and flexible management models, as well as efforts to increase reliance on non-conventional water sources.

A key focus will be maximizing the use of water from Al-Karama Dam to better support agricultural and development activities in the Jordan Valley, as part of a broader national plan to improve agricultural and service conditions in the region.

The ministry has invited journalists and media professionals working for licensed media organizations to attend the meeting.

Attendees are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and present documentation verifying their affiliation with a media organization.
