Irbid, April 18 (Petra) -- The Irbid Chamber of Industry (ICI) concluded a specialized training program on Saturday titled "Smart Transformation in Industry: How Artificial Intelligence Creates a Competitive Advantage for Factories." The initiative, held in partnership with the German Chamber of Crafts in Cologne, targeted factory owners, managers, and technicians across various industrial sectors.

Hani Abu Hassan, ICI President, emphasized the critical role of the program in supporting the sector’s transition toward modern technologies. He stated that artificial intelligence has become a fundamental element in optimizing production processes and boosting market competitiveness, reaffirming the chamber's commitment to organizing high-level programs that align with global industrial shifts.

Nidal Al-Sadr, ICI Director General, noted that the training witnessed high levels of engagement and practical benefit for the participants. He confirmed that the chamber would continue to deliver specialized training modules with its international partners to ensure the industrial workforce is equipped for the requirements of digital transformation.

According to a chamber statement, the ICI remains dedicated to its role in developing the industrial sector by building human capital and transferring international expertise. These efforts are aimed at fostering an environment of innovation within manufacturing facilities.

The chamber also announced plans to launch additional training cycles in the coming period to meet the evolving economic and technological needs of the local industrial community and support broader national development goals.
