Ramallah, Nov. 4 (Petra) - Israeli occupation forces arrested 45 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, including five women and two journalists, while seizing homes and reclassifying vast areas of land.
The arrests were concentrated in occupied Nablus and Hebron, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, with additional detentions reported in Qalqilya, Tulkarm, and Bethlehem, alongside field interrogations in Jenin.
In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli troops forcibly evicted 25 Palestinian families from their homes in the Hadaydah neighborhood near the Tulkarm refugee camp, converting several residences into military outposts.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities designated 2,536 dunams of land as "state property" across the villages of Beitillu, Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya, and Deir 'Ammar, northwest of Ramallah, the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported.
The commission warned that the land reclassification intends to expand and connect surrounding Israeli settlements, stretching from Halamish and Ateret to the Talmonim bloc and Dolev, severing geographic continuity between Palestinian communities and restricting local access to agricultural lands.
