Amman, Oct. 6 (Petra) -Ministry of Labor and Aqaba University Hospital (AUH) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Tuesday to create 100 job opportunities for Jordanians in southern governorates.
Supported by the National Employment Program, the jobs cover healthcare, technical, administrative, and support roles.
Under the partnership, candidates will be recruited through the National Platform For Employment "Sajjil".
To support the hires, the National Employment Program will subsidize worker wages for six months. In turn, the hospital is committed to hire, train, and provide Social Security coverage for participants, maintaining their employment after the subsidy period ends.
To prepare the new jobs, the hospital developed a "comprehensive" six-month training program alongside local and international partners. The curriculum features three months of preparatory instruction followed by three months of hands-on field training.
