NCSCM: Full-scale mock drill to test emergency preparedness on Tuesday

Amman, Nov. 8 (Petra) – The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) will conduct a national full-scale mock exercise next Tuesday, titled: "Path of Safety 6".

The exercise will be carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces(JAF)–Arab Army, various security agencies, and a range of public and private state institutions.

According to a center statement, the drill aims to assess the level of national preparedness and test efficiency of public safety procedures and responses to incidents and emergencies, by executing various scenarios at different locations nationwide.

Implemented under efforts to strengthen relevant inter-agency coordination and integration, the exercise also seeks to enhance readiness to handle various emergency situations, which would ultimately contribute to protecting lives and property and ensuring service continuity.
