Amman, April 19 (Petra) – The Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) announced more than 15 new healthcare facilities, affiliated with the Ministry of Health and the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS), have joined the e-health "Hakeem" system since the beginning of 2026.
This step underscores the ongoing national efforts to expand digital transformation and enhance "efficiency" of healthcare services provided to citizens.
According to an EHS statement issued Sunday, CEO Omar Ibrahim Ayesh said this expansion has raised the total number of healthcare facilities implementing the Hakeem system to 462.
Ayesh said this figure includes entities affiliated with the Ministry of Health, the JRMS, and the King Hussein Cancer Center.
He noted accreditation rates for the system have reached "advanced" levels, reaching 94% in Jordan's hospitals, 85% in comprehensive health centers, and 74% in primary care centers.
He stated this progress reflects "new" levels of digital integration and growing trust in the system.
On its impact, he said this expansion is not limited to increasing the number of facilities, but also reflects a "qualitative" shift in healthcare delivery mechanisms by enhancing integration among various healthcare providers.
He noted this process also improved accuracy and speed of access to health information, which contributed to improving diagnostic efficiency and the quality of treatment services.
On its role to boost the sector's services, he noted Hakeem system contributes to reducing patient waiting times, raising efficiency of health resource management, and improving the patient experience amid the increasing reliance on digital solutions in managing and exchanging health data.
