23 Jordanian companies to participate in US Fancy Food Show Sunday-JEA

Amman, June 27 (Petra) – 23 Jordanian food companies will begin their participation on Sunday, in the 2026 Fancy Food Show's latest summer edition held in the United States.

The three-day event will feature Jordanian companies participating in the show.

Head of Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), Senator Ahmed Khudari, said the association is organizing the Jordanian participation in the show, as the American market is "one of the key strategic" markets for Jordanian exports.

Khudari noted significance of US market is due to its "large consumer base, significant" purchasing power, and the priviliges offered by the free trade agreement between the two friendly countries.

In a statement issued Saturday, he noted Jordan possesses "high-quality and efficient" food and industrial products to compete globally.

This privilige, he stated, requires "continuous" efforts to maximize benefits of the free trade agreement, increase presence of Jordanian companies in international exhibitions and specialized trade events, and build sustainable partnerships with American importers and distribution chains.

He said increasing Jordanian exports to the United States is a "cornerstone" of supporting the national economy by enhancing foreign currency inflows, improving trade balance, stimulating investment, raising production capacity of national factories, and creating more job opportunities for Jordanians.

Locally, Khudari called for strengthening coordination and cooperation among various national institutions in both the public and private sectors, including ministries, economic bodies, export support institutions, and the private sector.

He said this effort aims to orchestrate efforts and integrate roles in promoting Jordanian products and opening new markets.

He noted achievements of Jordanian exports in recent years confirm investing in external promotion and building international trade relations produce "tangible and sustainable" economic returns.

Khudari said this situation requires continuing national efforts to enhance Jordan's position on the global trade map and solidify its image as a "reliable source of high-quality" products.

On its policy, he said the association will continue working with all national partners to enhance "competitiveness" of Jordanian exports and optimize benefits of the trade agreements Jordan has concluded with various countries around the world.

He said this plan aligns Economic Modernization Vision and contributes to achieving sustainable economic growth that benefits the nation and its citizens.
