Amman, July 27 (Petra) - Northern and Southern Military Zone forces on Monday foiled three separate infiltration attempts, arresting three suspects who were illegally trying to cross into the Kingdom.

Troops tracked one individual on the northern border and two on the southern frontier and applied the rules of engagement, detaining all three and turning them over to the relevant authorities for legal action, the Jordan Armed Forces– Arab Army (JAF) said.

It said the border guard remained on high alert and vowed to counter any infiltration or smuggling attempt, reiterating that the security of Jordan's borders remains a red line.
