Baghdad, Aug. 2 (Petra) -- A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck east of Kirkuk Governorate in northern Iraq on Sunday, according to the Iraqi Seismic Observatory.
The observatory said in a statement that its seismic monitoring stations recorded the earthquake east of Kirkuk.
No casualties or material damage have been reported, according to the statement.
