Amman, June 23 (Petra) –Chaired by Minister of Agriculture Dr. Saeb Khraisat, Board of Directors of the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) convened on Tuesday and approved the corporation's final financial statements for the fiscal year 2025, which demonstrated a "robust" financial position and a clear improvement in performance indicators.

According to a Board statement, the meeting, which was held in the presence of the ACC's Director General, Mohammad Doujan and members from the public and private sectors, reviewed the corporation's various performance indicators and readiness to implement the automated system.

The board decided to delegate some powers to the central lending committees in the Kingdom's branches, aimed to streamline procedures and expedite loan disbursement.

The statement said the step aligns with digitization and computerization plans, and seeks to enhance decentralization in financing decision-making, which would "positively" impact the services provided to farmers.

Additionally, the board approved several loans, under the "Agricultural Production and Marketing/Manufacturing Accelerator" project, aimed to empower "promising" agricultural projects, increase the product added value and enhance agricultural manufacturing capabilities to boost production and improve the sector's competitiveness.

On its future vision, the board affirmed the ACC's commitment to developing its financing programs and expanding its services in line with economic and administrative modernization plans and national directives to support sustainable agricultural development and enhance food security.
