Amman, May 13 (Petra) – King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) signed a partnership agreement to support early breast cancer detection efforts.

In a statement issued Wednesday, the foundation said the donation will be allocated to establishing and equipping two modern ultrasound and mammography examination rooms as part of a new early detection project to be launched this year.

Speaking at signing ceremony, KHCF Director General, Nisreen Qatamish, stated the private sector's contribution is a "fundamental" pillar in expanding and enhancing "efficiency" of early detection services.

Qatamish added that this effort will "positively" impact the chances of early diagnosis, improve treatment and recovery rates, and boost the quality of healthcare provided to patients, expressing her pride in this partnership.

In turn, JoPACC CEO Maha Bahou, said this initiative embodies an "effective model" for integrating humanitarian work with social responsibility.

Bahou noted the opportunity granted to individuals and companies would contribute to supporting medical facilities enhances sustainability and development of healthcare services.

She stated this effort would provide "advanced and comprehensive care for cancer patients and leave a lasting humanitarian impact that transcends mere financial support." //Petra// AG
