Ajloun Figures Affirm Solidarity with King, Stress National Security as Top Priority

Ajloun, March 2 (Petra) - Public figures reaffirmed their strong solidarity with His Majesty King Abdullah II, stressing that safeguarding Jordan’s sovereignty and national security is a fixed priority that cannot be compromised and that internal cohesion represents the main pillar in confronting various regional challenges.

MP Wasfi Haddad said that Jordanians stand united behind His Majesty King Abdullah II, drawing on deep confidence in the wisdom of the Hashemite leadership and its ability to manage crises with skill and balance. He noted that the current stage requires the highest levels of awareness and responsibility, and strengthening national unity away from rumors and attempts to cast doubt, adding that Jordan’s strength stems from the cohesion of its leadership, people, and institutions, foremost among them the armed forces and security agencies.

MP Ayatallah Freihat said that the Jordanians’ rallying around His Majesty the King reflects a deep national conviction that Jordan’s stability is the outcome of leadership that knows how to balance wisdom and firmness. She noted that the Jordan Armed Forces the Arab Army and the security agencies have proven their readiness and efficiency in protecting the Kingdom’s airspace and safeguarding its security, which enhances confidence in the state’s ability to deal with various developments with competence and capability.

Former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Wajih Owais said that strengthening national awareness and promoting a sense of belonging represent a real investment in the state’s future, noting that universities and educational institutions play a pivotal role in promoting these values.

He added that permanent alignment with Jordan and its Hashemite leadership represents a firmly rooted national constant, and that the current stage requires high awareness and shared responsibility to preserve the nation’s security and stability amid surrounding challenges.

Former Transport Minister Malik Haddad said that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, consistently proves that it is a state of wisdom and balance that places the national interest above all considerations, affirming that the Jordanian position remains firm and clear in protecting national sovereignty on land, in the air, and for its people.

He added that the security and stability Jordan enjoys are the result of a strategic vision led by His Majesty the King, based on strong institutions and a balanced approach, stressing that Jordanians renew their pledge to stand united behind the leadership under all circumstances.

Former MP Bilal Al-Momani said that internal cohesion constitutes the true safety valve for Jordan, affirming that national unity and rallying around the leadership enhance the state’s resilience and its ability to confront any threat.

He pointed out that Jordan will remain resistant to anyone who tries to undermine its security and stability thanks to the awareness of its people and their confidence in national institutions, foremost among them the Jordan Armed Forces the Arab Army and the security agencies.

Ajloun Culture Director Samer Freihat said that national culture constitutes one of the pillars of strengthening internal unity and consolidating the concepts of belonging and loyalty, stressing that protecting the homeland is a collective responsibility in which the roles of official and community institutions are integrated.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Hashemite University, Adnan Moqtash, said that Jordan’s strength is not measured by the size of the challenges it faces but by the steadfastness of its leadership and its ability to maintain balance under various circumstances, noting that the Hashemite leadership has established a clear equation based on protecting the homeland and safeguarding its interests with firmness and responsibility.

Chairman of the Ajloun Development Corporation Suhaib Al-Qudah said that protecting airspace and borders is an uncompromising national duty and that Jordan, under its Hashemite leadership, has always been a voice of reason and a sincere call for de-escalation and an end to regional escalation.
