Amman, July 27 (Petra) - Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and Hayat FM launched a radiothon on Monday to support its back-to-school campaign.

The fundraiser, running through till midnight, aims to sponsor the education and living expenses of 40 orphans for four years by rallying support from individuals and organizations.

The broadcast features success stories from beneficiaries, along with insights from fund representatives and partners on its educational programs and candidate selection process.

The fund noted that the General Iftaa Department issued a fatwa (religious ruling) permitting Zakat donations for non-wealthy orphans over the age of 18.

Donations can be made electronically via the fund’s website (alamanfund.jo), the CliQ alias "Amanfund20," eFAWATEERcom, or direct bank transfer.
