He stressed that social responsibility is an integral part of the chamber's mission alongside its economic role in representing the interests of the commercial and services sectors, describing support for vulnerable families as both a national and humanitarian obligation that helps strengthen social cohesion and stability.
Balkar praised the chamber's continued support for Tkiyet Um Ali's programs, emphasizing the importance of partnerships with private sector institutions in expanding assistance to beneficiaries and ensuring the sustainability of initiatives aimed at combating hunger and food insecurity.
He said the memorandum will help provide sponsored families with their basic food needs for a full year through monthly food parcels prepared and distributed in accordance with Tkiyet Um Ali's health and food safety standards.
Under the agreement, Tkiyet Um Ali will procure, prepare and distribute the monthly food parcels to beneficiary families through its established mechanisms, ensuring the continuity of food assistance.
