Amman, Jan. 11 (Petra) -- Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD 8.4 million on Sunday, as 4.4 million shares were traded through 3,248 transactions.

The general share price index rose 0.2 percent to close at 3,560 points, compared with the previous session.

Continuing an upward trajectory, indexes of the industrial and services sectors rose by 0.56% and 0.44%, respectively, while the financial sector went up by 0.04% Of the 106 companies traded during the session, share prices rose for 41 companies, while 33 companies recorded declines.
