Amman, June 30 (Petra) -- Arab Bank has continued its exclusive sponsorship of the "Bel Arabi 2026" (In Arabic) festival for the third consecutive year, an event organized by The Children's Museum Jordan in cooperation with Kalila wa Dimna Publishing House.
The sponsorship aligns with the bank's commitment to supporting educational and cultural initiatives that reinforce the Arabic language and cultural identity among children. Through interactive learning experiences, the festival aims to enrich children's knowledge, strengthen their connection to their native language, and cultivate a lifelong passion for reading and learning.
This ongoing support builds upon a long-standing partnership between Arab Bank and The Children's Museum Jordan, which has yielded numerous joint educational programs and experiential learning initiatives over recent years, reflecting the bank's core corporate social responsibility (CSR) philosophy that investing in knowledge drives sustainable community development.
As part of the collaboration, Arab Bank employees volunteered to facilitate various activities for children during the festival. The bank was also represented through a dedicated booth showcasing its "Junior" program, alongside a special reading corner hosted by the "Darb Al-Maarefah" (Path of Knowledge) Library a branch of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, which serves as Arab Bank's cultural and social responsibility arm.
The three-day festival, regarded as the first of its kind in Jordan, attracted approximately 4,000 visitors, specifically targeting children up to the age of 12 and their families. The event featured a children's book fair with participation from prominent local and regional publishing houses, alongside exhibits displaying educational products and services from specialized institutions. The program also included a diverse array of literary and artistic workshops, storytelling sessions led by 25 specialized children's authors, and traditional musical and folklore performances designed to spark creativity and cultural exploration.
