Cairo, July 9 (Petra) -- Speaker of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Yamahi on Thursday condemned Iranian attacks that violated Jordanian airspace, describing them as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

Yamahi said the attacks represent a clear violation of international laws and conventions and pose a direct threat to civilian safety and air navigation.

Affirming the Arab Parliament's solidarity with the Kingdom, Yamahi also expressed unwavering support for all of Jordan's measures to safeguard its national security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The speaker urged the UN Security Council and the international community to intervene immediately to curb such violations, respect good-neighborly relations, and prevent further escalation across the Middle East.
