Army intercepts 2 Iranian missiles, 2 drones targeting Jordanian territory in past 24 hours

Amman, April 5 (Petra) – Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)–Arab Army on Sunday announced Iran targeted the Kingdom's territory in the past 24 hours.
In a statement, JAF's Military Media Directorate said the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted 2 Iranian missiles and 2 drones that targeted locations within the Kingdom and shot them down with "complete efficiency." In turn, the media spokesperson for Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced the relevant units responded to 18 reports of falling debris and projectiles in the past 24 hours.
The spokesperson indicated that no injuries were reported by these incidents, but some material damage occurred.
The spokesperson reiterated warnings against gathering at, approaching, or tampering with any unfamiliar object or debris due to its danger, calling for adhering to the advice and instructions issued by Jordan's official authorities.
He also urged the public to report any suspicious objects to the security services via the emergency number 911, calling for adhering to instructions, relying on information from official sources, and avoid spreading rumors and misleading news.
