Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) – The Northern Military Region of the Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army foiled an infiltration attempt on Tuesday along the northern border, according to a military source.

The source said border guards detected a person trying to cross the frontier illegally within the region’s area of responsibility.

Troops applied the rules of engagement, apprehended the individual, and handed him over to the competent authorities.
