Amman, May 4 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Monday stood at JD13.3 million, with 6.3 million shares traded through 4,465 transactions.

The general share price index closed at 3,850 points, down 0.86 percent.

Sector indices were down across the board, where industry fell by 1.26 percent, services 1.22 percent, and finance by 0.48 percent.

Of 100 companies on the index, 29 recorded gains, while 42 posted losses.
