ASE Turnover at JD9.2M as Index Rises 0.54%

Amman, March 3 (Petra) -- Trading on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD9.2 million on Tuesday, with 3.5 million shares changing hands through 2,651 transactions.

The market’s general share price index closed at 3,572 points, up 0.54%.

Sector indices posted broad gains, with services up 0.97%, industry rising 0.70%, and financials higher by 0.27%.

Of the 87 companies traded, 36 recorded gains while 22 closed lower.
