Irbid, July 28 (Petra) - The Yarmouk Water Company’s inspection teams uncovered an illegal connection to the public water network in the Baqoura area of the Northern Jordan Valley on Tuesday, where water was being diverted to illegally supply two cattle farms.

Technical crews immediately disconnected the illegal line and initiated legal proceedings against the violators to protect water rights and maintain equitable distribution across the network.

The company stated its commitment to continue inspection campaigns across its jurisdiction to curb water theft and safeguard the Kingdom’s scarce water resources.

It urged citizens to report any unauthorized water use to ensure fair and efficient delivery.
