Aqaba, Mar. 17 (Petra) – Ayla Oasis Development Company and Royal Jordanian Marine Sports Federation (RJMSF) on Tuesday renewed their memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the third consecutive year.

The step continues mutual collaboration to develop marine sports, particularly sailing and rowing activities, and enhance their local and international presence.

Ayla's CEO, Sahl Dudin, and (RJMSF) President, Ramzi Kabariti, signed the agreement, in the presence of the two sides' representatives.

Under the MoU, the two sides will continue to organize events and activities at the Upper Lagoon of Beach 3 in Ayla pools, which would contribute to expanding participation in these sports nationwide.

Talking at the signing ceremony, Dudin said the partnership reflects "success" of the joint previous collaboration in promoting marine sports at Ayla.

Dudin noted the ongoing development of training facilities and efforts to host training sessions for the national "Optimist" sailing team, as well as to organizing championships and events as part of a plan aimed at supporting the local community and promoting tourism.

In turn, Kabariti said the federation aims, through this partnership, to expand training camps and tournaments and develop the skills of Jordanian athletes in sailing and rowing areas.
