BAU head, Qatari cultural attaché discuss enhancing academic cooperation

Salt, March 31 (Petra) – President of Al Balqa Applied University (BAU) Dr. Ahmed Ajlouni, and the Qatari Cultural Attaché, Hamad bin Abdullah Saad Al Mahmoud Al Sharif discussed ways to enhance academic cooperation and the situation of Qatari students enrolled at the university.

The two sides also discussed ways to develop educational relations, mechanisms to support Qatari students, and provide a "distinguished" educational environment that meets their academic and living needs.

Talking at the meeting, Al Sharif expressed deep appreciation for the BAU's "advanced" academic level, praising its "prominent" role in supporting Qatari students and its commitment to providing a "supportive and stimulating" educational environment.

He also commended the university's provision of "high-quality" facilitations and services that contribute to these students' academic and living empowerment, especially under the current circumstances, which reflect the BAU's commitment to its educational and humanitarian responsibilities.

In turn, Ajlouni expressed his pride in the educational ties with Qatar, emphasizing the university's commitment to providing the "highest levels of education and care for Qatari students." He highlighted the university's "supportive" environment that meets their academic needs and accommodates diverse circumstances, which would develop qualified alumni to compete in the job market.

Ajlouni also presented the university's key specializations and programs and the services offered to international students.

On its policy, he stressed the BAU's dedication to enhancing the experience of international students and integrating them into the university environment, which contributes to achieving academic and cultural excellence.
