Amman, March 5 (Petra) -- Jordan’s airports maintained steady operations on Wednesday, with flights running on schedule despite airspace closures in neighboring countries, the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) confirmed.
Captain Dheifallah Al-Farajat, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of CARC, said Queen Alia International Airport received 67 incoming flights and facilitated 58 departures, demonstrating high operational efficiency under the current regional conditions.
He noted that Royal Jordanian Airlines played a leading role in sustaining air connectivity, covering most flights while some foreign carriers temporarily suspended operations due to regional tensions.
Al-Farajat further emphasized that the Commission continues to monitor developments in real time and coordinates closely with all partners to maintain the safety and security of Jordanian airspace. Technical and operational teams remain on standby to address any emerging situations, ensuring travelers’ safety and the smooth flow of air traffic.
