Amman, August 4 (Petra) - The College of Advanced Vocational Training (CAVT) has partnered with the Emirati Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation to provide 455 scholarships for vocational students this year.
Supporting two training cohorts across CAVT campuses, the initiative covers specialized programs combining classroom instruction with hands-on practice to boost youth employment and foster regional economic development.
An initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation supported by Germany through the KfW Development Bank, CAVT focuses on closing the skill gap in the region.
"These scholarships play a pivotal role in widening access to technical training, expanding future horizons, and equipping a qualified workforce that meets evolving market needs across the Kingdom," said CAVT CEO Ammar Gharaibeh.
The partnership aligns with national efforts to enhance youth economic participation by modernizing Jordan's technical and vocational education system. Both non-profit organizations focus on expanding access to high-quality, market-aligned education, helping young people gain practical skills and build sustainable careers.
