Amman, Jan. 11 (Petra) -- The Crown Prince Foundation on Sunday held a ceremony marking the achievements of its School Leadership Program for 2025, at the Palace of Culture in Al Hussein Youth City in Amman.
The event featured a presentation on the School Leadership Program and its accomplishments during the year, including the training of more than 104,000 students from early age groups in over 1,500 public schools across the Kingdom’s governorates.
A number of distinguished participants shared their experiences with the program before an audience of Ministry of Education staff and program leaders, highlighting achievements and key experiences that contributed to developing their skills and shaping their personalities, enabling them to become active members of their communities.
During 2025, school leadership councils implemented more than 840 activities serving local communities across all governorates. These activities included volunteer initiatives in education, health, technology, and the environment, benefiting over 118,000 people, in line with the program’s objectives of promoting active citizenship and a positive national identity through volunteerism and leadership development.
The program’s activities focus on helping students discover their potential and develop their personalities through workshops and opportunities centered on teamwork, leadership skills, and volunteer work.
Participants also shared personal reflections on the program’s impact on their personal development, skills acquisition, community engagement, and confidence-building.
The School Leadership Program is one of the Crown Prince Foundation’s leadership initiatives, implemented through the Ministry of Education as the executive partner. It was launched in 2013 for eighth-grade students in public schools across all governorates of the Kingdom. It seeks to foster the principles of active citizenship and nationalism among adolescents by providing leadership development and community service opportunities.
