Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) - Deputy Speaker of the Lower House, Hala Al-Jarrah, said the royal initiative supporting the University Student Fund represents a real message of hope for Jordanian youth and a practical expression of the justice and solidarity approach pursued by the Hashemite leadership.

Al-Jarrah said the initiative reflects His Majesty King Abdullah II’s commitment to enabling students to complete their university education without economic challenges standing in the way of their ambitions, noting that education has been and will remain a cornerstone in building a modern state.

She added that support for the University Student Fund reinforces equal opportunities for citizens across all governorates and contributes to social stability by investing in the scientific talents and capacities of young people.

Al-Jarrah called on official and civil institutions, as well as the private sector, to engage positively with the royal initiative and expand support for the fund to ensure its sustainability and reach the largest possible number of needy students.
