Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) - Domestic revenue rose by JD107 million, or 2 percent, through the end of July 2026, reaching JD5.625 billion compared to JD5.518 billion during the same period in 2025.

Official fiscal data attributed the growth to a JD32 million increase in tax revenues, which totaled JD4.126 billion, alongside a JD75 million surge in non-tax revenues, bringing them to JD1.498 billion.

Driven by economic recovery, improved tax administration, and an expanded tax base, this revenue boost fortifies Jordan’s public finances and helps shield the economy from regional headwinds.

On the expenditure side, the government continued funding priority capital and development projects to stimulate growth and upgrade infrastructure.

Capital spending rose by JD55 million through July, reaching JD687 million up from JD632 million during the same period last year.
