Amman, April 4 (Petra) –Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), in cooperation with the Ministries of Investment and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, is scheduled to organize the Economic Forum for Diplomatic Missions in Jordan next Wednesday under the theme: "Investing for the Future." According to a JBA statement issued on Saturday, the forum aims to enhance economic dialogue, build "effective" international partnerships, and reaffirm Jordan's position as an "attractive" investment environment.
This effort will support sustainable growth efforts, strengthen integration with international partners, and build sustainable economic relations based on mutual interests.
On participation, the JBA said the sessions will bring together representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom, including ambassadors from Arab and foreign countries.
The JBA noted this presence gives the evnet a "strategic" dimension that will contribute to deepening partnerships between Jordan and these countries in the economic, investment, and trade sectors.
On agenda, the forum is a "pivotal" opportunity to reiterate "strength" of the partnership between Jordan and its international partners and enhance coordination and integration of development priorities.
It will also review the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) programs and Jordan's structural reforms in its national economic path.
The event highlights "promising" investment opportunities in value-added sectors, contributing to bolster confidence in the national economy, stimulate new investment flows, open "wider" markets for Jordanian exports, and strengthen long-term strategic partnerships between Jordan and the rest of the world.
The forum focuses on the EMV pillars as the "comprehensive" national framework for achieving sustainable economic development by improving the business environment, enhancing competitiveness, stimulating innovation, and generating employment opportunities.
The activities also underscore efforts of the private sector as a "key" partner in implementing the EMV's axes and its role in supporting productivity- and knowledge-based economic growth, in line with national priorities for the coming phase.
