Amman, Mar. 19 (Petra) -- Edraak has officially launched a new course, "Accounting Essentials for Non-Accountants," supported by the GSR Foundation, to equip non-specialists with core accounting knowledge and strengthen financial literacy across the Arab world.

The course is designed to introduce participants to core accounting concepts through a simplified and practical approach. It seeks to help entrepreneurs, employees, students, and learners from various fields better understand financial matters, manage resources effectively, and make more informed financial decisions in both their professional and personal lives.

Through a structured learning journey, participants will gain an understanding of key accounting fundamentals, including how to read and interpret financial statements, the principles that underpin accounting practices, and the distinction between revenues and expenses.

The course also features practical examples and real-world applications that enable learners to develop a stronger understanding of financial management and resource allocation.

The course is available through Edraak platform, allowing learners from across the Arab world to enroll free of charge and access high-quality educational content in Arabic, reflecting Edraak’s ongoing commitment to expanding specialized learning opportunities and providing flexible, accessible education that aligns with the evolving needs of today’s workforce.

The GSR Foundation reaffirmed its support for Edraak and its efforts to expand access to high-quality education, emphasizing that learning opportunities should not be limited by geography or income. The foundation also highlighted the importance of partnerships that empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate financial challenges and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

Enrollment in the "Accounting Essentials for Non-Accountants" course is available through the link below: https://www.edraak.org/en/programs/course/afna102-v2026-t3/ //Petra// WH
