European stocks open higher

Amman, July 6 (Petra) – European stock markets opened higher on Monday as investors weighed elevated valuations in the technology sector against easing geopolitical tensions and expectations that the US Federal Reserve could cut interest rates later this year.
According to Bloomberg, France's CAC 40 index rose 0.23 per cent, while Germany's DAX index edged up 0.05 per cent.
Britain's FTSE 100 gained 0.14 per cent, and Italy's FTSE MIB advanced 0.45 per cent.
