Amman, June 23 (Petra) - FIFA appointed a Jordanian refereeing team on Tuesday to officiate the Group G match between New Zealand and Belgium at the 2026 World Cup.

The refereeing team is led by Adham Makhadmeh, who has been a full international referee for FIFA since 2013. Makhadmeh oversaw his first game in the 2026 tournament on June 15 in the match between Spain and Cape Verde.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 6 a.m. (Jordan time), at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, Canada.
