Amman, Aug. 3 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Monday from Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

The two ministers discussed the deep-rooted ties between the two kingdoms and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors to serve mutual interests.

Safadi and Al Zayani also reviewed regional developments and explored support for regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, restoring calm, and advancing security and stability.

The foreign ministers discussed several issues of mutual concern, agreeing to maintain coordination and consultation bilaterally as well as within regional and international multilateral organizations.
