FM Discusses Regional Escalation in Calls With Montenegrin, Slovak Counterparts

Amman, March 3 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi received two phone calls on Tuesday from Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Ervin Ibrahimovic and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Juraj Blanar.
Safadi and his counterparts discussed the repercussions of the dangerous escalation unfolding in the region and prospects for restoring security and stability.
Safadi reiterated Jordan’s condemnation of the unjustified Iranian attacks targeting Jordanian territory and Arab countries, stressing that the Kingdom will take all necessary and available measures to protect its citizens and safeguard its security, stability, and sovereignty.
He affirmed Jordan’s full solidarity with the Gulf Cooperation Council states in the steps they take to confront the Iranian attacks and protect their citizens, security, and stability.
Ibrahimovic and Blanar affirmed their countries’ solidarity with Jordan.
