Amman, June 7 (Petra) -- The Jordan Football Association and Google Gemini have signed a partnership agreement naming Google Gemini the artificial intelligence sponsor of the national football team, in a move aimed at enhancing fan engagement and expanding the global presence of Jordanian football through advanced digital technologies.

Under the agreement, the two sides will launch a series of initiatives across digital platforms that leverage Google Gemini's artificial intelligence capabilities to create interactive fan experiences, introduce new ways for supporters to engage with national team players, and develop innovative digital content that strengthens the connection between fans and the national team.

The initiatives will enable supporters to use Google Gemini tools to create motivational visuals and produce creative content related to the national team. The technology will also be used to simplify sports concepts, analyze match performance, and deliver advanced interactive experiences for football fans.

Jordan Football Association Secretary General Samar Nassar said the agreement aligns with the federation's strategy to expand high-quality international partnerships and capitalize on emerging technologies to support Jordanian football and strengthen the national team's regional and international profile.

"The partnership with Google Gemini marks an important step in the federation's digital transformation journey," Nassar said. "We aim to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the fan experience, strengthen engagement with supporters, and launch innovative digital initiatives that keep pace with global developments in sports." She added that Jordanian football is entering a historic phase as Nashama prepares to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, expressing hope that the partnership will help share the team's story and the passion of Jordanian fans with a global audience while highlighting Jordan's national identity through modern digital tools.

For his part, Najib Jarar, Regional Marketing and Product Manager at Google for the Middle East and North Africa, welcomed the agreement, describing it as a milestone partnership that brings together technology and sports to support the Jordanian national team during a pivotal period in its history.
