Amman, Sept. 17 (Petra) – The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) Committee held its 12th ordinary session on Thursday Chaired by its Head Ahmad Malkawi, the committee ratified the draft renewal of the agreement with the Jordan Post Company for providing various postal services, mainly at domestic and international express levels and delivery of e-government outputs, in exchange for specified fees.

The committee approved hosting events and meetings for the International Association of Public Transport (UITP MENA) in Amman, aimed at exchanging institutional expertise in the sustainable transport and infrastructure fields.

It also approved support for the West Asia Basketball Championship by providing modern buses for people with disabilities as a gift from GAM to the tournament.

During the session, Lara Ayoub took the legal oath of office as a new member of the GAM Committee.
