Amman, Apr. 3 (Petra)-- A responsible source in the energy sector announced that natural gas supplies from the Leviathan gas field to Jordan resumed on Saturday morning, with volumes expected to gradually return to normal levels in the near term.
The source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that relevant authorities are closely monitoring gas flows to ensure a steady supply to power generation plants and maintain stable operations.
He added that the continuity of gas supplies remains linked to regional developments, stressing that Jordan is effectively managing various operational scenarios by diversifying its energy sources and strengthening the readiness of its electricity system to ensure energy security.
