Gaza Strip, Dec 27 (Petra) -- Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 29 bodies, including 4 who were newly killed by Israeli fire and 25 pulled from the rubble, as well as 8 wounded people, in the last 48 hours, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

It said many victims were still under the rubble and on roads, inaccessible by civil defense teams and ambulances.

The latest casualties raised to 414 the death toll since a ceasefire took hold on November, 11, and the number of injured climbed to 1,142, according to the ministry's figures.

That took to 71,266 the death toll from the Israeli aggression, which began on October, 7, 2023, and the total number of injured people to 171,219, it added.
