Amman, March 30 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan has issued a circular granting a holiday for Christians in all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies on the occasion of Palm Sunday and Easter according to the Eastern calendar.

Under the circular issued on Monday, the holiday for Christians will be next Sunday on the occasion of Palm Sunday, while the holiday will extend to Sunday and Monday, April 12 and 13, on the occasion of Easter.
