Hakeem system expands to cover 482 healthcare facilities so far-CEO

Amman, July 7 (Petra) – Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) announced the continued expansion of the national e-health "Hakeem" system, bringing the number of healthcare facilities connected to the network to 482, all affiliated with the Ministry of Health and the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (JRMS).

This expansion reflects the ongoing progress in the digital transformation of Jordan's healthcare sector and strengthens the integration of the healthcare system across the Kingdom.

According to an EHS statement issued Tuesday, several new health centers and facilities have recently joined the Hakeem system services.

As for their geographical presence, the statement said these facilities are located in in the governorates of Irbid, Madaba, Mafraq, Aqaba, Ajloun, Jerash, and Ma'an.

EHS CEO, Omar Ayesh, stated this expansion reflects the ongoing national efforts to solidify digital transformation in the healthcare sector.

This action, he noted, is achieved by broadening the scope of "Hakeem" system and connecting more healthcare facilities to the unified e-health record services.

He said this process ensures "faster and more accurate access" to health information, enhances continuity of care, and improves efficiency of diagnosis and medical decision-making, which would ultimately improve quality of healthcare services and enhance patient experience across the Kingdom.

Ayesh noted the company's commitment to leading the digital transformation efforts in the Jordanian healthcare sector, aligning with the goals of the Economic Modernization Vision (2023–2033), which aims to build an integrated digital healthcare system based on innovation, data integration, and the advancement of healthcare service quality.

He noted Hakeem's continued expansion "represents a strategic step towards building a cohesive national health information system." On its feasibility, he said this system empowers medical professionals to access accurate and secure health data, contributes to more efficient treatment decisions, improves the patient experience, and enhances the efficiency of healthcare resource management.

He stated continued investment in developing digital systems and technological infrastructure is a fundamental pillar for keeping pace with the rapid advancements in the healthcare sector.

"This investment enables the sector to leverage the latest technologies, ensuring the sustainable delivery of efficient and reliable digital healthcare services and reinforcing Jordan's position as a leading regional model in digital healthcare transformation," he said.
