New York, March 2 (Petra) - Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi said on Monday that he has no indications that any nuclear facilities, including the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the Tehran Research Reactor, or other nuclear fuel cycle installations, have been damaged or targeted in attacks.
Grossi told a meeting of the agency’s Board of Governors that, according to the regional safety monitoring network, no increase in radiation levels above normal background levels had been detected in countries neighboring Iran.
He reiterated his call on all parties to exercise the utmost restraint and avoid further escalation, adding that "the lasting solution to this long-standing dispute lies at the diplomatic negotiating table, and the International Atomic Energy Agency will be there, ready to play its necessary role whenever and wherever it is called upon." //Petra// AF
