Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) – The parliamentary bloc of the Initiative Party praised the royal directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II to the government to increase allocations to the University Student Support Fund by JD5 million, highlighting His Majesty's continuous care and attention to the education sector at all levels.

In a statement on Monday, the bloc said the royal initiative embodies His Majesty's supportive approach to the education journey and his firm belief in the role of youth and students in building the nation’s future. It noted that the move will help ease the financial burdens on Jordanian families and provide students with the necessary support to continue their university education.

The bloc added that the royal initiative brought joy to the hearts of families and their students, serving as real assistance in completing their academic journey, and reflects the Hashemite leadership’s commitment to achieving educational justice and equal opportunities.
