Amman, March 31 (Petra) – Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh met on Tuesday with members of the Jordanian-Swedish Business Network, which includes representatives of several Swedish companies operating in Jordan, in the presence of Swedish Ambassador to Jordan Maria Sargren.

The meeting explored opportunities to expand investment and enhance economic cooperation.

Abu Ghazaleh discussed the strength of Jordanian-Swedish relations, calling for building on them to advance strategic and high-quality investment partnerships that serve the mutual interests of both countries.

He said that Jordan continues to develop a more competitive investment environment, supported by advanced legislative and regulatory frameworks that facilitate business operations and strengthen investor confidence.

He discussed Jordan's key advantages, including its stability, strategic location, network of free trade agreements and skilled workforce.

Sargren, in turn, called for expanding partnerships and enhancing coordination between the public and private sectors to facilitate investment flows and maximise available opportunities.

The meeting brought together representatives from the Swedish Embassy, officials from the Ministry of Investment and other relevant institutions, as well as private sector stakeholders and Swedish companies operating in the Kingdom.

Discussions focused on opportunities for expansion in the energy, industry, technology and services sectors to bolster investment ties. //Petra// AK
