Irbid, Oct. 7 (Petra) -- Irbid District Electricity Company (IDECO) is continuing to execute a comprehensive plan to create an inclusive service environment for persons with disabilities, in cooperation with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD).
In a press statement issued Wednesday, the company stated that the initiative operates along two integrated tracks. The first focuses on architectural accessibility and engineering modifications across its facilities and customer service centers to facilitate movement and ensure easy access to services.
The second track centers on institutional development and staff readiness by training employees on effective communication protocols and interaction etiquette to deliver a service experience that respects the rights and needs of persons with disabilities.
IDECO noted that the initiative reflects its commitment to translating national disability inclusion and empowerment mandates into practical measures, reinforcing its role in advancing an inclusive society built on equity and equal opportunities.
The company affirmed its dedication to continuously upgrading its services to meet the needs of all subscribers without exception, supporting service quality, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility goals.
