Irbid governor reviews progress on rehabilitation of Al Hassan Stadium pitch

Irbid, July 22 (Petra) -- Irbid Governor Firas Abu Al-Ghanam on Wednesday inspected progress on the rehabilitation of the playing surface at Al Hassan International Stadium, located in Al Hassan Youth City, to review the project's implementation and completion rate.

Abu Al-Ghanam said the project is one of the governorate's key sports infrastructure initiatives, stressing the need to maintain the pace of work and mobilize all available resources to ensure completion within the approved timetable.

He said the project would enhance the city's readiness to host sporting tournaments and events and support Jordan's sports sector, in line with the Ministry of Youth's efforts to upgrade sports infrastructure across the kingdom.

Abu Al-Ghanam also stressed the importance of continued coordination among all relevant parties to ensure the project is implemented in accordance with the highest technical and engineering standards and achieves its intended objectives.

Abdullah Bani Yasin, director of Al Hassan Youth City, said work on rehabilitating the stadium pitch is being closely monitored by Minister of Youth Raed Adwan, who is giving the project special attention to ensure it is completed on schedule and in line with the highest technical specifications.

He said the project would improve sports services provided to young people and athletes while reinforcing Al Hassan Youth City's position as one of Jordan's leading sports facilities.
