Chamber President Hani Abu Hassan said the Chamber issued 7,630 certificates of origin between January and the end of June.
The leather and garment sector remained the largest contributor to exports at $518 million, followed by food, agricultural and livestock industries ($34 million) and pharmaceutical and medical supplies (more than $17 million).
The United States remained the largest export market, importing goods worth more than $592 million, followed by the Netherlands ($27.3 million), Germany ($21.2 million), Saudi Arabia ($16.4 million) and Canada ($14.4 million).
Al Hassan Industrial City accounted for the largest share of exports at $568 million, followed by Cyber City with more than $19.3 million and the Chamber's main office with over $4.4 million.
Abu Hassan said the sector's continued growth, despite regional and global economic challenges, reflects the resilience of Jordanian industry, supported by efforts to improve competitiveness, expand into new markets and diversify exports.
