Israeli forces arrest Palestinians in occupied West Bank Raids; demolish homes

Ramallah, September 15 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread raid and incursion campaign across the occupied West Bank cities on Tuesday, arresting 28 Palestinians, including former prisoners and women, amid heavy gunfire.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners' Society, the arrested Palestinians were targeted on the grounds that they were "wanted" by authorities.

In a separate development in occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces demolished two homes in the town of Beit Hanina, located north of the city.

The Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements reported that an army force backed by bulldozers raided the town's Al-Ashqariya neighbourhood, destroying properties of the Abu Mayala and Alqam families under the pretext of lacking municipal building permits.

Additionally, illegal armed Jewish settlers infiltrated the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, and stole approximately 300 sheep along with a purebred Arabian horse.

The Deir Dibwan Municipal Council confirmed that the livestock and animals were taken directly from the farm of local resident Yousef Fawaz Awawdeh in the town's Al-Hayyan area.
